Thomas Puketza received his Bachelor’s Degree in Theater from Temple University in 2006. There he worked on a variety of projects in different capacities. In 2009 he served as a consultant for the Winstead PC law firm, advising on independent film production. In 2011 he Stage Managed the first run of BetaMale Productions’ Awesome Alliteration. Additionally, Thomas has studied feature film production accounting. He is the writer, director, and producer of Work Is Cheap.
Suzanne Richardson is excited to be working the fantastic cast and crew of Work is Cheap! She received her degree in Arts Management after studying at Stephen’s College and Lindenwood University, and has worked on over thirty theatrical productions in various roles.
Patrick is a man of mystery most recently seen performing at the A.R.T. in Gainesville, and has been working on his golf swing.
A dual enrolled high school junior at Santa Fe College, Stephen is no stranger to theater. Some favorite performance credits at his high school include Papa Ge in Once on This Island, Gaston in Beauty and the Beast, and Pirelli in Sweeney Todd. Favorite roles at the Gainesville Community Playhouse include General Schmitz in Seussical, ensemble in Aida, and most recently Claquesous among other roles in Les Miserables.
Norma Berger (Ensemble) most recently appeared in The Peppermint King, Teatro de los Muertos, The Star-Spangled Girl, and The Aunts at the Acrosstown Repertory Theatre. She lives in Gainesville, sings karaoke, scours thrift stores, and hula hoops in her spare (non-theatre) time.
Lynda Regina Harris has been doing community theatre in the Gainesville area forthe past 10 years. She recently spent a summer in NYC attending The American Academy of Dramatic Arts for their summer intensive program. She hopes to one day become a successful screenwriter, producer, and actress. She thanks her family, friends, and above all God for the many blessings she has experienced in her short life and believes for many more.
Hannah Gutman hails from miami florida, where she studied theater at miami dade college in the heart of the city. She is a current student at sante fe college. This production will be her first production in Gainesville, FL.
A Theatre student at Santa Fe College, Amelia has played classical roles from Sophocles to Shakespeare. Trained in modern dance. Has interests in making and performing for film and is most likely working on one right now. Twenty years old, one cat, and dreams of moving to Japan in the near future.
Anthony joins Work is Cheap with an eclectic history in musical theater. Playing colorful characters as Bill Sykes in Oliver and Professor Harold Hill in the Musical Man. Most notably bringing his powerful voice and stage presence to Area State Company’s rendition of Les Miserables as Jean Valjean. We’re excited to see Anthony’s interpretation of the smoldering, love struck Tony in Santa Fe’s West Side Story. He brings dedication, determination and vast experience to cast and is thrilled to be part of such a fabulous ensemble.
Is a third year BFA acting major at the University of Florida. He’s thrilled to be involved with this wonderful play and making his debut at the wooly. He would like to thank his parents for their undying support, Suzanne and his cast for keeping him grounded; and of course, Tom, for this incredible opportunity. Ethan Ellis is excited to participate in this show. He is currently enrolled at Santa Fe college, where he will be in their upcoming production of West Side Story. He was previously in the Gainesville Community Playhouse’s production of Les Miserables where he played Lesgles. He would like to thank his family and friends for all of their support.
J.J. is originally from Miami, Fl where he attended Coral Reef Senior High School as part of the theatre magnet program. Previous roles include Edna Turnblad in The musical “Hairspray”, Duke Orsino in Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night”, and Action in the musical “West Side Story”. J.J. Is now a part of UF’s BFA Acting program and is performing in the school’s production of “Metamorphosis” this January.
