Work Is Cheap is a story of low paychecks, job insecurity, and mandated can-do stupidity. Sometimes funny, sometimes tense, this is an honest, real portrayal of life behind a name tag.
Its first workshop in 2009 sold out multiple performances. A revised script reading and discussion event at Broken Shelves lasted nearly two hours. The most recent performance run in 2014 earned press coverage in The Gainesville Sun and The Independent Florida Alligator.
